Clamp straps
Clamp straps belong to the group of mechanical clamping devices.
The clamp strap used to fixate workpieces on a fixture or
when clamping a workpiece. It is characterised above all by its
adaptability because clamp straps can be set quickly and easily for any
workpiece. Particular attention must be paid to the parallel position to the table surface.
The clamp straps are available in the following industry standards:

norelem not only offers clamp straps made of heat-treatable steel, the range of
clamping elements also includes products made of aluminium and steel. Furthermore,
norelem's product range extends from clamp straps in numerous variations to riser blocks, claw clamps and double-sided mini clamp straps.
A claw clamp is a tool that is used to clamp nuts and bolts. The infinite function of the claw clamps from norelem allows different clamping heights to be bridged quickly without additional supports. The claw clamps are designed for high loads and are particularly suitable for clamping cutting and punching tools.
Chain clamps
Chain clamps are mainly used in machine and plant construction. Chain clamps can be used to clamp unwieldy workpieces safely and effectively. The chain clamps from norelem are suitable for cylindrical workpieces, valve housings, pistons and other workpieces.
The range includes two different steel chain clamp sets and other product families that complement this set.

Cam levers
A cam lever is a mechanical device that is used to increase forces. Cam levers are frequently found in cars, aeroplanes, air conditioning systems, printing machines and also in medical technology.
The function of the cam lever is to increase force. It consists of a grip lever that is attached to a pivot point and a cam that is attached to the end of the grip lever. When the lever is moved, the cam moves in a circular path around the pivot point. This process increases the force exerted by the grip lever.

Cam clamps
Cam clamps are tension levers that convert linear movements into a rotary movement. They are used in machines to generate a rotary movement and enable secure clamping with large adjustment ranges and high clamping force. norelem offers cam clamps with centre or end clamping, single or double cam levers, hinge pins, spacer bolts and spiral cams.
Swing clamps, floating clamps
A swing clamp is used to connect two or more parts. It is often used in machine construction to create a rigid connection between parts. The floating clamp, on the other hand, is used to clamp and support components above certain clamping points. It prevents vibration and deflection during processing.
A pneumatic swing clamp is suitable for clamping workpieces. The pneumatic swing clamps can be controlled manually or automatically. It can be positioned at several points on the workpiece and is available in versions that swivel to the left and right.
Hook clamps, power clamps
From clamping hooks and power clamps to compact clamps – norelem offers a wide range of products. This "Clamping hooks, power clamps" category contains products with the following material base bodies:

The advantage of power clamps is in the very high clamping forces of 22-49 kN. They have a low construction height, are infinitely adjustable in height and length and the individual elements are easy to assemble. This enables quick and uncomplicated clamping. And best of all, clamping and support elements and slot key acc. to DIN 508 with clamping screw strength class 12.9 are included with the delivery.
Pull clamps
One product family in this category is the pneumatic pull clamp. It is used for clamping workpieces and fixtures. The clamping pins are screwed to the workpiece or fixture. The clamping process for the pneumatic pull clamp is described in detail on the product page under Details.

Fixture clamps, fixture clamp screws
norelem standard parts are divided into different product families. One of these also includes the cam clamps and cam clamp screws.
A cam screw is used for fastening and adjusting a component within a machine. It generates cam movements when driven and is therefore often used in machines and devices to generate a linear movement.
In order to meet the most diverse requirements, cam clamp screws are available in various sizes and configurations.
In addition to the products mentioned above, the range also includes clips. They are characterised by their extremely space-saving design, the pull-down effect and the absence of interfering edges due to the lateral clamping.
Pull-down clamps
With 38 product families, this category is the largest in the standard part system 04000. In addition to rack plates, flat clamps and clamps for T-slots, pull-down clamps are also included.
The base body material for pull-down clamps is made of ductile iron. The pull-down clamp helps to press the workpiece against the pull-down clamping bracket. At the same time as this process, it prevents the workpiece from being lifted.
Wedge clamps
Two workpieces can be held simultaneously with the wedge clamp. They are often used in metal or woodworking, but are also used in other manufacturing processes.
The wedge clamp ideally suited for clamping round and rectangular parts, and its small design enables space-saving multi-clamping. norelem offers wedge clamps with various material base bodies, including aluminium, low carbon steel, steel, heat-treatable steel and tool steel.
In addition to wedge clamps, the cam screw with clamping element and stop can also be explained. Space-saving and cost-effective multi-clamping can be created using the clamping element and the stop.
